Pc gaming is not dying

I can go on steam, and I will see more titles there than at the local gamestop obviously. Along with that, on PCs you can install game modifiers mods to enhance existing content, or add additional content. Say hi to the next generation. Peace is a lie, there is only Passion.

Even so, PC gaming is not dying, it will always be there. I'm sure we had even less of a PC game market years ago when even less people knew how to work computers.

I'm glad to see a report on exactly how I felt the market was shifting. Steam OS takes the user interface of a PC and makes it more console-like; it's primary purpose is for gaming. The PC gaming market is not as large as the console market, but it brings in more money and is by no means dying. So while the overall sales might be down, the PC gaming portion of that is up.

Last edited by Spoonhandle; at PM. Again, PC gaming is on the rise. Vastly more titles on the pc. You'll only find AAA titles on consoles.

We use combustion engines because they are quite a bit cheaper. Thus, it is less profitable for everybody, and less affordable. Just thought I'd share this if you guys haven't run across it. I've only skimmed through some of it as the list is quite exhaustive. And I'm sure some of those titles may slip and not release in some form in But I don't think either console can lay claim to the potential of that many games releasing on their system. I have a feeling it doesn't include many of the indie games that only get released on sites like Desura or lesser known stores.

But the next time someone you know tries to play the PC gaming is dying card, feel free to toss that link in their face. Regards, SB. They have rather I mean to put Torment or Cyberpunk requires real pie in the sky hallucinations Too bad most of the games are low quality indie jank but I guess they have their audience hopefully so that developers get at least some money.

Some of my favorite games at the moment are indie games. The nice thing is that indie games can fill a niche that can't be filled by AAA developers due to niche games having a smaller audience thus a AAA budget could never recoup the cost of development.
